The new Batteries Plus location is owned and operated by local residents and entrepreneurs Kurt and Lisa Linsenmeyer. Kurt, a former owner of multiple powersports & recreational vehicle dealerships, and Lisa, a former General Manager of a tier 1 automotive and home hardware supplier, decided to start their own business after concluding that they are far too young to retire. They were initially drawn to Batteries Plus after researching how franchisees benefit from owning their own location. The Lisenmeyers hope that their new Batteries Plus will bring Goose Creek locals peace of mind in knowing that the Goose Creek Batteries Plus employees are able to locate any type of battery for any item or application, including specialty batteries.
