Ivybrook Academy Now Open in Summerville
Half Day Pre-School Offers Award-Winning Curriculum to Local Families
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – (August 8, 2022) – Ivybrook Academy, the award-winning half day pre-school rapidly growing across the United States, is now enrolling families at its second location in the Charleston area. Ivybrook Academy Summerville is located at 2119 North Main Street near Carnes Crossroads. The pre-school opens Monday, August 15 for the school year.
Ivybrook Academy, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, is nationally recognized for its progressive approach to early childhood education. The school’s curriculum combines time-tested teaching approaches, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Multiple Intelligence Research. This hybrid approach toward learning provides a customized education that respects each child’s individual voice and instills a life-long love of learning at a young age.

Ivybrook Academy Summerville is continuing to enroll new students for the 2022–2023 school year. Half day classes from 8:15am-12pm are available for ages 18 months through transitional kindergarten.
Summerville native, Caroline Gore is serving as Principal to the new school. Gore believes, “that all children have unique personalities and learning styles. She understands that children are individuals whose strengths and gifts should be valued and nurtured.”
