Summerville, SC (October 1, 2018) - One hundred years ago if you asked Rhea Spencer what she would be doing for her 100th birthday she would have told you that she would be dancing in heaven. Little did she know then that she would be flying high in the sky, but it wasn’t because she had entered heaven’s pearly gates.

Rhea will be the first resident of The Village at Summerville to take flight on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Holy City Helicopters will be taking residents on helicopter rides above the beautiful Summerville community from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.. “We like to be sure we are helping each resident check off items on their bucket list,” said Tim Barresi, Executive Director of The Village. “We celebrate each day with laughter and fun, but a 100th birthday calls for something extra special,” he added.
