(Berkeley County, SC) – The 2019 Leadership Berkeley class kicked off the 10-month long program on February 21, 2019.   The program is designed to expose businesses and area leaders to the opportunities and challenges facing our community; promoting and fostering leadership creates a strong and diverse poll of community leaders who are committed to shaping Berkeley County’s future.  Graduates emerge from the program with an unprecedented level of community awareness as well as insights that they can apply in the workforce.

Each month, the participants experience topics concerning our community, including economic development, education and workforce, healthcare and social issues, government, and law enforcement and judiciary.  Dr. Constance J. Pritchard, Master Career Counselor and Trainer, stated “this is a dynamic class and with their diverse backgrounds this will be one group who will set out to make a change.”
