Celebrate National Public Lands Day by giving back to the trails and public lands that make outdoor recreation possible across South Carolina! The Palmetto Trail is hosting a special volunteer workday in Francis Marion National Forest on Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Volunteers will work together to help improve and maintain the trail by replacing a damaged section of boardwalk along the trail. If time allows, the group will also help clear overgrown vegetation to improve access and the overall trail experience.
