The Chamber requires payment in advance for admission to all Chamber events. Registrants are responsible for the full registration fee for any cancellation made after 5 p.m., seven days prior to the event, due to commitments to our vendors. If unable to attend, substitutions are welcome prior to the program date. Registration fees will not be refunded or waived after that date. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee.

Century Aluminum will share more about their expansion project and how it will impact the City of Goose Creek, the county, state and region. We will also have an update on the progress and projections for the Charleston International Manufacturing Center.

Dennis Harbath, Century Aluminum Mt Holly Plant Manager
Kent Fonvielle, President of Cooper River Partners, LLC
Dennis Harbath, Century Aluminum Mt Holly Plant Manager. Mr. Harbath joined Century Aluminum in May 2013 and served in various roles at Century’s Kentucky plants, the latest as Hawesville Plant Manager in 2016, before accepting the Mt Holly Plant Manager role in December 2017.
Dennis served in the United Stated Navy. He received a B.S. degree in Business Management from Oakland City University.
Kent Fonvielle is President of Cooper River Partners, LLC which is the owner and operator of the Charleston International Manufacturing Center. Prior to joining Pacolet Milliken, he served in an executive role for MISO, a regional transmission grid operator. He was responsible for MISO’s South Region, extending over all or portions of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Kent is a seasoned energy executive with close to three decades of experience. Before joining MISO, Kent held successive roles of increasing responsibility at Charlotte, N.C.-based Duke Energy Corporation from engineering and operations to regulatory affairs.
Kent received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He has served on the Make-A-Wish Central Arkansas Regional Board, the Arkansas Research Alliance Board, the FBI Private Sector Advisory Board, and the Center for Public Utilities Advisory Board.
