This two-day workshop focused on providing frontline basics, including focusing on the customer, path of leadership, decision-making, situational leadership, planning and managing work, difficult people, and crucial conversations, and handling the unexpected.  Workshop attendees were provided with learning experiences to equip them for current and future management roles that will overall improve the organizational effectiveness and employee engagement, productivity, and retention.

Elaine Morgan, CEO of Berkeley Chamber, stated “that feedback from the attendees was excellent from our surveys, they all enjoyed and learned from the interactive sessions.  Several wished the workshops were longer, and overall, they felt the class dynamic, and the instructor provided the winning combination to make the program successful.” The course facilitator for the workshop was Dr. Keith Plemmons, PE, Ph.D., PMP of Southeast Associated Services, Inc.

The Berkeley Chamber will plan to hold this workshop again in 2024 and continue to provide training to improve retention and talent recruitment for our businesses and industries.  For more information on these training opportunities contact the Berkeley Chamber at 843.761.8238.
